1Installation &Setup Issues

KWT Spider does not require a traditional install — download the .exe and run it. Ensure you're on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). If Windows SmartScreen warns,you can choose "Run anyway" when downloading from the official site. See System Requirementsfor full details.

2License &Activation Issues

Enter your licence key via Licence → Enter Licence Keyin the app. You need an internet connection to activate. If you see "License key not found" or similar,check that you copied the full key and that it hasn't been used on another machine (one key per machine). After activating,restart the app if export or other full features stay disabled. More in the FAQ – Licence &Activationand Buy Now – After Purchase.

3Performance &Error Issues

For large crawls (10k+ URLs),use a PC with 4+ cores and enough RAM(8 GB recommended). If the app freezes or is slow during crawl or export,try a smaller crawl limit first. Close other heavy applications. If you get a specific error message,note it and your Windows + app version when contacting support.

4Crawl &Export Issues

In the demo,export,save/load,compare,and sitemap generation are disabled — that's expected. Activate a full licence to enable them. If export is greyed out after activation,restart the app and check Licence → Licence Status. For crawl issues (e.g. URLs not found),check that the start URL is correct and that the site allows crawling (robots.txt). See Downloadfor demo vs full and FAQ – Export &Reports.

5General Troubleshooting

Check the FAQfor common questions. Use Help → Check for Updatesin the app to get the latest version. For crashes or odd behaviour,note your Windows version and KWT Spider version (Help → About or Licence Status) before emailing support. You can also see Troubleshootingif available.
